The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office, located in Wheeling, West Virginia, serves over 42,035 people. Sheriff Tom Howard, 2 Chief Deputies John Schultz, Drage Flick and 32 sworn Deputies patrol 109 square miles to provide protection to the citizens of one city, Wheeling, West Virginia, and the communities of Bethlehem, Triadelphia, Valley Grove, West Liberty and Clearview, West Virginia.

Though there are full-time and part-time police departments in the area, the Sheriff's Office has been the primary law enforcement agency for the majority of Ohio County since its inception in 1777.
